  • ACHTUNG! ATTENTION!

[Above: This is a modern fake of the above souvenir sheet! If you look carefully this fake does not hold up to scrutiny.
The middle design with the 'U H D' is especially crude when compared to the original. Also, the repeating background is entirely missing.

[Above: The stamps shown in the above souvenir sheet were also sold separately. Notice that the small red text on the bottom of each stamp from the souvenir sheet is missing on the stamps which were sold separately. These are from 1944/45. Limited to only 7500 sets. The color difference is from scanning irregularities. Click for larger view.]

    UNISSUED, PROOFS & ESSAYS

  • Below: Very rare 1945 Red Cross unissued postage stamps printed on carton paper. The war ended before these, and others shown below, could be released. These stamps were never properly printed, so only testing examples exist.

    ERRORS

[Above: An incredibly strange error. A piece of paper was stuck over this stamp while it was printed - it was then used with the paper still attached - then soaked off the envelope. Very, very odd.]
